Actually just from personal observation, mother Acutus are not the best mothers of the croc family..I've seen a lot of Acutus babies on thier own after hatching with mother nowhere in site..Try getting that close to a bunch of baby nile crocs and that canoe would've been turned to splinters..Not saying it's that way with all female acutus, but just from what i've seen and experinced in the past they are not in the running for the mother crocs of the year award..lol....By the way, i took some great pictures of Gomek at silver springs this past weekend and will post them when time allows..What a beautiful example of a great big american Croc he is...Just Massive
