Crickets are good, also minnows,earthworms, and pinkies I gave once a week.

:should i start feeding my baby alligator pinkies?i think he is big enough to down one.(he is about 9 inches long)let me know.alot of people say stick with fish and crickets what type of fish exactly if gold fish are bad for gators?how often should i feed him the pinkies?thanks in advance.mike.
