Its best not to keep any other animal around crocs, I used to keep turtles with my caiman years ago, but the caiman started loseing toes, the turtle (RES) was only about 2-3 inchs and the caiman was about 14 inchs. But if you have a huge (and I mean huge!) pond it would be fine, I have a 250 gallon pond and 20 foot by 20 foot land area. And I will keep adult RES's and a sub adult map turtle and they rarly find each other. But I hope this helped, take care and good luck,
