Tyler, There are laws in florida about moving alligators..you have to be a licensed trapper to move a gator down here and if your planning on snagging one, Let me give you the lowdown on whats going to happen to you if your caught...1st of all, Possession of an alligator here in florida is illegal without the proper permits..You catch one and get caught, Your looking at a 2nd degree misdemenor punishable with up to a year in jail and or a $1,000 fine...Not to mention it's pretty dumb to attempt to catch a wild gator without any knowledge about the animal and if he gets loose and gets a hold of you, You got major problems then...Give them a wide berth and LEAVE them alone..If it's a problem gator, call the florida game and freshwater fish commission and they will send someone out there to remove the gator.
