I have had a number of emails requesting adoption of intake crocodilians that I care for.
Unfortunately this cannot happen. My partner and I are currently working with state law makers on introducing a bill requiring licensing in Michigan for anyone who wants a croc. It will require education and hands on experience to be licensed and of course age requirements, not to mention basic enclosure regulations.
Therefore it would be hypocritical to adopt out animals, except to those I am more than satisfied of thier experience and track records. All others, which we do not keep as part of our own collection, are sent to permanent sanctuaries.
