I recently took a snake off of a girl who had no idea what she was doing with it, or how to take care of it. She got into an argument with me about whether or not it had teeth for crying out loud. At first I was sure it was a ribbon snake, but then I figured it to be a garter. It's a bit more slender then most garters I've seen. It has a tiny pair of yellow oval-like dots on the top of it's head right behind and between they eyes. It's coloration is a bit more like some of the garter's I've caught, it has the white flecks in the black between the yellow lines, especially when it has a full stomach. It's been strictly feeding on goldfish, but I'm gonna go get some earthworms and such for it. It's a nice snake, it doesn't bite, although it can become quite frantic when you first pick it up, shooting around the cage a top speed. I just cleaned the cage a put down a new substrate, how does it show it's gratitude? By looking strait up at me, flicking it's tounge, and taking a big ol' sh*t! Ungrateful little.... I'll see what I can do about putting up a picture, but I'm not sure how, can I get some help with that?
