brown snake isn't eating!

My brown (a very skittish juve.) has fed on chopped earthworm and small slugs (loves 'em).

:OK, I'll try some minnows, but I don't think he's about to shed since his eyes are clear, his skin isn't dull, and he's in a good mood all the time. I read that brown snakes mostly eat slugs and worms, but he has refused both, as well as centipedes and pill bugs.
