I am guessing it is co-dominant.Here's a pic of siblings from a flame bred to a erythristic.The one male on top is definitely taking on the erythristic trait.The other one has both traits but leans more toward a flame.The definitely vary.Even if you breed two flames together some are going to be redder than others.
