:Depends on how big the nightcrawler is. I have fed mine 4-6 nightcrawlers (30-inch snake) at a time. Usually, I feed him enough to cause a noticeable lump, which without seeing your snake I can't tell if one nightcrawler would do the trick.

The nightcrawler was about ten inches long when extended. Like i said, it was huge. anyway, it made a slight bulge in the stomach. The snake is wc, so im just glad that it's eating so quickly (got it on saturday).
soon, ill try to send a photo of it in. Im not sure if its a male or female. If someone could, id appreciate some close-ups comparing tail size and length between male and female garters.
