Switching Garters to Mice

I was wondering if some of you might be willing to share your tecniques for switching garter snakes to rodents with me. I have some bab albino and het for albino checkered garters here that I was told were eating F/T pinkies, but I can't even get them to acknowledge he presence of the pinkie, let alone eat it. I have tried F/T on tongs, F/T left in the cage, live, fresh killed, etc., but with no luck. I also have some more babies comign this spring from Scott Felzer, and I want to have all my garters on rodents, but I'm having some issues here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
