did anyone see Animal Planet's 'The Most Extreme Lovers' the other night?!? they showed the annual spring emergence of hundreds of Garters from their dens in Manitoba. several males would swarm around one big female, competing for her acceptance of a mate. i was well aware of this as i had read about it long ago as a kid in National Geographic magazine. what i WASN'T aware of was sometimes, there is a transvestite Garter amongst the horde - a male pretending to be female!!! anybody out there see this or already know about it? i used to think i knew just about everything about Garters. just goes to show you learn something new everyday, i guess!
