I know that the sex ratio that hatches out of a clutch of turtle eggs is influenced by the incubation temperature. Does anyone know if this applies to snakes. In particular, can I control the sex ratio of my garters by holding my snakes at higher or lower temps during gestation? I know they thermoregulate so this may be hard to do but I was wondering if there was any hard data.
