Someone here stated that the same is true in Ohio - all sirtalis are sirtalis - whether or not they are a different subspecies or a color phase that doesn't occur in that state - doesn't matter.

:Are you in California? I can understand them being a bit tight on sirtalis (b/c of tetrataenia). Otherwise I don't see this incursion being worth their time. Man, I'm really sorry.
