It may be going through its shedding cycle, in which case, it probably won't eat. Also, If it is about to give birth, it may not eat as well, or it may not eat for no particular reason at all, I have read that some large snakes have gone for more than a year without eating, and then started for no reason at all.
If the snake is getting noticably thinner, or less active it could be starving itself, but I would only force feed as a last resort, Seeing a vet would be a good Idea if it is a big problem.
