I am thinking of adding a ribbon snake to my collection of animals, well not collection but group. I currently have two red sided garters so I know basic care. I am going to put him/her in a ten gallon for now cause I have a lot of them, but I am going to get a 15-20long alittle bit later. I am going to an undertank heater(one that is the size for a 15 so I don't have to buy another), a water dish big enough for him to soak in and catch fish, some drift wood, and subtrate..not too sure, any suggestions?? And I have a light for the top, but which type of light bulb should I get? I never got anything special for my garters, all I have is a flourescent lights. Thanks all and sorry about the length.
