Who breeds toads?

I dont want a difficult species. Id like something cool looking but that could be either drab or pretty. I want one for ease of breeding and i kind of need it to be not too expensive. Anything fit the bill? I was thinking just like an american, i can get 1in guys near a local creek. thanks for the responses,
