when i was not so good at all this herp stuff i tryed puting a few african dwarf rogs with my slide who at the time was only abot 5" te next day all 3 were gone. i only found oone leg when i cleaned his tank out later. this show that sliders(red ear and yellow belly)will eat any and all frogs put in the tank. and for this turtle length i have a red ear that is 11.5 inches long and they get bigger than that. last week i went to the georga mountians and found a turtle that was 13 inchesfrom the back tip of its shell to the frount tip of it shell.
