Well I was taking out my big rocks to do a water change... being very careful as usual so that I can find Tiny and Freckles and move them to change the water. Well... I found that Freckles our little tadpole had died sometime today. I'm so bummed, I was really wanting to see that little bugger finally grow. These things happen. I guess I feel pretty lucky that I was able to raise 3 out of 4 to froglets. The next time we are at the store for crickets we are going to see if they have any other leo tads. If they do we may pick up two more only they will be put in the 10 gallon with their own set up and introduced into the larger terrerium only after those front legs grow in. We shall see.. may just stick with three and avoid any possible over crowding.
