:My bullfrog seems to have his own personalty as well. he is tolerant of people and will hand feed very readily. but at home we laugh because when he is tired of being looked at he will do what we call give the a**. he turns around shows his butt and closes his eyes till your gone.

::Well I found out bullfrogs, like people, have personalities. One of my bullfrogs, raised since very very tiny now large, is skittish. Will not be handfed, and does not eat unless nobody is around.

::I recently purchased another bullfrog-which was wild captured-being housed in its own home, is very tame, loves to be handfed, and does not even mind being picked up! He is healthy as a horse too. I had to get him fattened up, which is rapidly occurring. But he will take food from my hand dead or alive!

::I thought this really odd--a baby handraised to be an adult is quite skittish, now this one-wild captured and....friendly. very odd.

::I think both are cute as a button!
