You know... I didn't even think about that! We've had the fogger since we set it up. You adjust the amount of fog by how deep you have the unit in the water. The deeper in the water the less the fog and vice versa. But today when I was watching to see if it was still leaking, I didn't have the fogger on at all. Result, no extra water on the land side. I bet that's what it is. We usually only have the fogger on twice a day for about an hour each time. 1 hour in the AM and 1 hours after sunset. But on Saturday we had company over for hubbys birthday and had the fogger on for quite some time. Sunday was when I noticed all the water under the bedding.

Thank you so much for thinking of that!!! I would have torn everything apart and gone crazy looking for a leak if you hadn't mentioned the fogger. Next time I have it on I will watch the water.

Thank you Thank you!!!!!

: When did you notice your leak? Before or after you put the fogger in? The fogger may be set too high, causing you to lose water at an accelerated rate. If it is due to the fogger your water will get lower on the water side and at the same time your substrate will become damp. Just an idea.

:One way to find out where your leak is...

:1. Remove substrate from the land side (this is the worst part sorry)

:2. Fill your water side with water (add a few drops of food coloring red or green are dark enough to be seen well)

:3. (optional) If you don't add food coloring: line the land side with paper towels...the first place to get wet will be your leak.

:4: If you go for the food coloring method you will be able to see with relative ease exactly where your leak is originating. Don't worry, the food coloring is easy to clean off of your aquarium if it is glass, and should leave no lasting residue that would affect your frogs.

:Just a suggestion. I know tearing down your vivarium is the last thing you most likely feel like doing, but maybe this will help.
