Sadly, many companies take advantage of people's gullibleness and their lack of knowledge on herps. I can honestly say that half the stuff marketed to reptile and amphibian keepers is total crap. Most of the time you can buy stuff cheaper if it doesn't have a gecko on the packaging. Directions on these products are generally useless if not downright detrimental, especially foods.
