::ONLY adults call. This means a frog larger than 2 or 2.5 inches. Only males call as well, but my males ONLY call during breeding conditions. They normally do it near midnight, but will sometimes call in broad daylight. Andy
My albino cranwelli makes an ungodly croak at night. Like a demonic frog. :)
Sometimes he does it during the day. Pretty loud too.
Some people say they sound like a cow mooing (I think these are females).
Some people say they sound like a dog bark or a duck quack.
Every now and then I hear almost a squeaky chirp...not sure if its him chirping or him rubbing against the glass bottom of the tank (thats what it sounds like).
