Yeah, I went for a walk myself last week. All went well, I fell in a swamp but I thought I might, all it really meant was that i no longer had a reason to keep my feet dry. Those peepers are so hard to catch when a dog is following you everywhere. I heard them everywhere but as soon as I got to a place I thought one was calling they all went silent and the dog ran around some more. I saw lots of wood frog eggs and some a maculatum out there. The wood frog tads I had for a little while were doing fine until just yesterday. Two nights ago I guestimated about 500 tadpoles total in my tanks. They were small so it was hard to tell. Then, yesterday moring I woke up and every single one was dead. I have no clue how this happened,I haven't had trouble raising them in the past. Oh well, better luck next time. Glad to hear that one more person has been made aware that yes, frogs do exist.
