I am not a pro-but I know there are atleast 3 (i think) different kinds. If you go to any Fire Belly Toads site (i.e. http://john.christian.home.mindspring.com/toads.html (fire belly toad world) (I hope it is ok to give sites out) anyway, that will tell you about some of them. I have (sniffle, I mean HAD) 3 FBT and all were a tad different in color. I notice they would darken alot when temp went down to. You can search this forum and find lots opinions on the color subject. One thing I do know, it is very very difficult to tell male from female. Everyone says the males sing but I personlly find it hard to tell who is singing "Let's Get it On" and who is singing, "Why Don't You Just Leave Me Alone".. hee hee I just throw them together and let them do what they want. Mine seem to boink all the, but you know young boys....sex sex sex on the mind...oops, just kidding. Really, I was. ;0)

:i have had my FBT toad alone in a 10 gal hlaf and half tank and i just purchased another FBT from the same place but it looks different...more brown less Green. Are there Different types of FBT's?and since about 2 seconds after i put the 2nd one in they have been well u know "mating"...is there a Way to tell the different sexes?
:thankx
