Now that is unusual. Most bullfrogs won`t eat unless nobody is around. you are lucky you have a male frog too. I am hoping mine is a male.

:I was bored yesterday, and decided to try handfeeding my male bullfrog. He had not been eating crix on his own, preferring to bury himself all day and ignore any crix i placed in there overnight. Well he's usually the most skittish frog of all mine, but i tried anyway, and he looked at the crick in my hand curiously for a minute or 2 and suddenly snapped it up! he took 6 more that way until i ran out. all i can say is, wow, such an elusive and fearful frog taking crix right out my hand. i have a pic and will post it soon. i never would believe this if i didnt see it myself.
