So the lid is very secure, although there is a tiny space where the electrical cord of the filter comes out over the back of the tank. (does that make sense?) But I can't even get my pinky fingure in the crack though. (And I have very tiny hands, even for a girl.) And Fook-mi was a big FBT. Could he have SQUEEEEEZED through? How long can they live with out water?
:Perhaps you could place a small water dish in most of the rooms of your house. This may draw out the frogs, and even if you cannot catch the frogs, as least they will have a place to soak. And if your house is too dry, the frog just may stay in the bowls long enough for you to find it. I too have had frogs escape, well mantellas anyway. I learned the hard way that a proper lid is one of the more important aspects of the equation.
