That is so awesome. I hope our Leos get used to us being near. Would be nice to have them calm enough that we'll actually be able to see them rather than them hiding all the time. Maybe it'll help that we've had them since tadpoles. I do notice a differance in temperment already between the Northern and Southern. The northern (Pepper) Doesn't seem nearly as jumpy as the Southern (Stretch)
:My leo is very tame. It never tries to jump away when I get close. This morning, when I feed it, I coaxed the crickets toward it with my hand in the tank, and it doesn't seem to be that frightened. At first, I thought that there might be something wrong with it, but it put away already 3 large crickets dusted with multivitamin, which smells horrible. So I guess it is ok, right, if it's eating well? I think it maybe captive bred being used to humans. My firebellied toad that I bought from the same petshop is the same way, and I have had it for almost 2 years now. Why are they so tame? The FBT that I got from the other place is terrified of me when ever I tried to get it in the critter keeper to clean the tank. It jumps away as soon as I open the lid.
