types of frogs. I don't know much about identifing tadpoles, but I do think you have two different species there. At first when reading your message (and before I saw the picture) I thought perhaps the smaller tadpole might have been sick. I only have experience raising American Toad tads and Spring Peeper tads- The ones that were smaller always died -mostly drowned when they transformed into a froglet. The ones that died always had shorter legs and they took a long time to develop too. I think (and please don't quote me on this) it was called rickett disease. ??? Anyway, I don't think that is what you've got going on there. Just looks like two differnt kinds. 'Fraid I can't help you out on which type of frog it is! Cute lil' fellers! :-D -laurah
