You did good. Most people try to remedy the situation by buying the animal, which only leads to the offending company getting money and therefore more pets to place in the improper housing. At one pet store, that had a horned frog with a waterbowl he couldnt get into, we actually asked to see/handle the frog, and then i sunk the waterbowl down into the dirt for him and he leapt in. what ever length you hafta go to!
