Then you have the bearded dragon I believe, who's throat and underbelly turns black when feeling defensive. Now that's one way of letting the guy next door to keep off your grass HA HA


:Siamese cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs have a gene that only produces melanin under certain temperatures. These animals will appear all white if kept over, I think it was 80 degrees. It IS pretty strange, but it's a much slower process than color changing herps. Boa constrictors are famous for coloring down at night, and I've noticed crested geckos do it too.
