We got our Taddies from a shop, but can I get a small clump of algae from the pond behind us and put it in with our tads? Or would that contaminate my tank? They eat the plants I have in there but I'd love to give them a treat.
:They should eat the flake food. another option is getting some plant life from the area where you caught the tadpoles, and they should feed off of that. i place my tadpole tank in the sun for about an hour each day, and it's grown a nice coating of algae on the glass which the tadpoles love.
