I think it's a bad idea. My fbts love their water and spend 90 percent of the time in it.
I solved the problem of lifting heavy tanks (I'm not a bodybuilder) by using a water tray rather than filling the tank with water. It's about 2 inches deep, 8 in. long by 6 in. wide, and I pour it out daily and renew the water, a simple task.
