cute toad you've got there. If you have a 10g tank, I would say you could keep two wood frogs in there. I kept my two in a 10g for a long time, see no reason for a larger tank because they are small little frogs and I keep it clean. They like some wood pieces and plants to hide among, even some dry leaves. I too will probably not keep all the tadpoles once they morph, because over two dozen frogs is a lot!
The algae on the sides of the tank and the unhatched eggs seem to be enough food for them, so I am not adding anything other than a tiny amount of crumbled flake food. They've got that tadpole shape now, the round body and pointy tail. Here in NY, the weather has just gotten better this past week. this wed. if it isnt raining, we will hike back to the original wood-frog breeding ground, it's about a mile away but worth the walk. i want to see how the eggs out there are doing.
my bullfrog is in a 55 gal for now, but he's still growing and I am getting a bigger tak for him this summer. here'z a pic of Luna:
