Goliath frogs are mute. They have no vocal sac.

Adult goliath frogs eat insects, crustaceans, fish and amphibians (newts, salamanders, and smaller frogs, for example). Goliath tadpoles, however, are vegetarians, feeding exclusively on certain waterplants found only near waterfalls and rapids.
