While there is a Hylid from Brazil that has been reported to feed upon fruit (although I cannot remmeber which one) herbivory has also been recorded in Rana hexadactyla (see Das, I., 1996, Folivery and seasonal changes in diet in Rana hexadactyla (Anura:Ranidae) Journal of Zoological Society of London 238: 785-794) Goliath frogs are not herbiverous unless some foliage gets grabbed along with prey. The adults prey mainly upon frogs athough they will eat anything small enough to be overpowered. The tadpoles feed upon fresh water diatoms (like Atelopus).
