leopard frogs love to have enough water so they can submerge. also mine like having hiding spots in the water so they can feel secure in there. a few water plants can attractively accomplish this, along with your underwater tree trunk. At night they almost always go on land, so a few rocks and things to sit on in the land area is a good idea. I use large flat pieces of shale or slate rock. Gravel is never a good idea in a leo frog tank, because they are zealous feeders and may swallow some! bed-a-beast or forest bed for land area substrate. a great idea is to create a plexiglass divider in the tank to get a good land and water area. as for the waterfall, i made one by taking apart an (already broken) garden fountain and using the mechanism within. it was kind of loud for the frogs, so i ended up removing it though.
