i do a full change every two to three days. then i rinse the area with some more water to get up any remaining dirt. i take that out then add the good water. about a 10 min job with the wet vac. i don't use gravel though so can't help with that.

:better safe then sorry, so every 2-3 days replace the water, is it a full water replacemtn or just 2/3? and how often does the gravel need to be washed and replaced?
