I know what you mean--the crickets breeding inside enclosures is a royal pain. I switched to buying subadult crickets to avoid the breeding issues--they seem to gobble them all up before they are old enough to breed.
They can be pretty annoying to the lizards.
:I only noticed the drool once. She was in a very deep sleep. She had been acting funny before I took the male out of her cage. She would just stay in one part of the cage. But since I moved the male, and added more humidity she is just as active and is eating great. One other problem I might be having is that I let crickest run around her cage. I give them plenty of veggies all over the cage so they will not mess with her, but the substrate is moist enogh that they have started to breed. Do I need to clean out the cage or is there going to be a problem?
