Thank you all for replying so quickly!! Now the crazy part of all this is that it all started to happen after the move, so I'm going with the stress assumption for now. As for the cricket's they are dusted every other day. I will dust a little more now that he may be stressed out (thanks for the advice). Now on to the basking bulb, I have a 75watt and a 40 watt exo-terra, now when I get a little extra cash I will have to get my hands on that murc. vapor bulb you mentioned matt, but for now I will just have to replace the 5.0, ohhh ya the answer to your ? matt is no, their is nothing blocking or covering the strip light.
