I have been having the same problem. My frilled lost two toes to it. I think that it could be a humidity problem. I started my guys on sand. But after having a third toe that looked bad I put them on cypress mulch and mist twice and soak for 30 min. every day. It seems to be getting better. Mine looked like sheed, but the last two did not. So I am not sure what it really is. Since the first two were right next to each other I thought that it might be bacteria. I am going to take it to a vet if it gets worse. I did not get any help from this, but if you find out anything else about it e-mail me at poisonfrog420@hotmail.com
