I would provide different basking areas. Keep in mind here that I am not an expert. My two 6 month old babies are still in the 75 gal tank they have been in for the past 5 months. It has a cermic heat emitter on one end (150 watt), and a 100watt active uv heat bulb on the other. I think I am going to build my cage with levels and have the uv heat bulb over a large portion of the cage and a heat emitter over a different spot. Like I said, still do not know what I am doing with my larger cage, but I am working on it. Jacob.
