:It all depends on where you get your crix. If you get them at a pet store ask what they feed them. Where I work we feed them chicken starter, and left-over sm. amimals pelleted food. We also give them cricket water so I would have no problem with feeding them stright from the bag I bring them home in. I feed mine at home just any kind of fruit or veggie I have laying around. That takes care of both food and water. Jacob.
