Frilled substrate, time for a change?

Hi all,

Right now I use calicum sand for my baby frilleds so that if they ingest any of it while eating the can digest it. I have stated to put their crix in a litter pan so thay can not get out, so was thinking of switching to a bark substrate to help keep a higher humidity. What do you all think? Thanks, Jacob.
