my frilly eats strawberries

hi all. have a funny story. today i was feeding my box turtle some strawberries and my adult male frilly Golilath went nuts. well i handed him a piece of strawberry and he almost took my hand off. ive heard of some frillies eating fruits and veggies and ive even tried to offer them to my frillys but they never want them. anybody know a reason for the sudden change? strange!
