:This time it was only about 6 inches, but I usually try to get it a little higher. I had to reprep in a hurry since I had no idea she was as close as she was to laying--oops! She'd been eating like a champ the day before so it took me by surprise.

:::moist peatmoss should work. a lot of breeders use cat litter pans filled with moist substrate (sand, soil, peat, ...)
:::I have found (after giving my guys options) that mine prefer just a big pile of moist substrate in one of the corners of the cage--they dig into it and make their own little cave to deposit the eggs.
:::7 more laid yesterday!!!

::::Hi,

::::I mean how big/deep and with what kind of substrate.
::::Will moist peatmoss do the job?
