Also as for the gaping, Mine will sit there under his light with his mouth open and frill part way out, it appears normal, he has never frilled at me and he's about 7 months old, I figured him sitting there like that was just a way of sunning himself, also he turns from the grey black to almost pure white it's unbelievable( is that normal?) anyway good luck once again!
