What do you mean you found a bat under a rock?
About one out of every ten rocks contained a little brown bat (Myotis lucifugus) underneath. Now this particular site was on the Canadian Shield so the rocks were flat and were on top of more giant rock cliffs. The flat rocks formed the perfect area for both skinks and bats alike. The crevices were kept nice and warm by the sun while the bats slept away the day.
