What reptiles are you planning on relocating? Why? How many reptiles. From what location to what location? What State or States are involved? Answers to the above questions will determine what legal steps you might have to undertake.
When I lived in North Georgia I replenished Green Anoles into our heighborhood that were wiped out during construction. I moved about 15 adults from an area where they were very abundant. They thrived from then on in their new location. But that is a hardy abundant species in that area, and I don't think any harm was done. Note: I had a special license from the State to collect Reptiles for study at that time. I now believe that State law probably was violated. Even though this could be a part of my study.
