I herped the Santa Monicas for three years when I lived in Westlake Village. I also spent 10 Years in the San Gabriel Foothills and San Bernardino Mountains. Presently I am exploring the Corona to Temecula area including the Santa Ana Mountains. I have been compiling feild notes and observations throughout southern California since the 1970. My goal is to compare species present and population changes by returning to areas in 10 and 20 years. I have all kinds of information you would enjoy. But I want to know the extent of your Herp enthusiasm. Contact me by email I would like to hear what you are seing in the Santa Monicas. I have some good spots there too.
