You need to come up north a few miles, and check out the Scioto along 257 by the zoo, and maybe Alum Creek, which I'm pretty sure branches off the Olentangy. Pretty nice habitat, even though I've never gone looking for turtles specifically. I guess the river's only grungy in the city... figures.
